Compact integration
Compact controllers and ink systems fit inside equipment or in other limited-space workstations such as short conveyor lines.
FHES / PIJ SERIES LDi
The LDi series serves printing workstations with limited space. Its compact enclosure combines intelligent siphon ink supply; select printheads by print width, resolution and mounting direction, and expand through cascaded control modules.
The image shows a dual-printhead downward-printing workstation; printhead count, control modules and mounting method depend on project configuration. A maximum of four printheads per module applies only to downward-printing configurations.
LDi SERIES / PRODUCT GUIDE01 / ADVANTAGES
Combine the controller, ink system and printheads for the specific workstation, and expand according to capacity requirements.
Compact controllers and ink systems fit inside equipment or in other limited-space workstations such as short conveyor lines.
Establish ink supply conditions according to ink level and tubing configuration, and adjust for the printhead mounting orientation.
In downward-printing configurations, a single control module connects up to four printheads; multiple modules can be cascaded according to control, ink supply and synchronization capability.
02 / SYSTEM
Select the printheads and workstation first, then expand control and ink supply for the job.
Select according to print heights of 32.4, 54 or 72 mm and the target resolution.
Check ink level, tubing length and nozzle condition for downward, side, angled or upward printing workstations.
A downward-printing module supports up to four printheads; check total printhead count, synchronization and line speed after cascading against the delivery plan.
The brochure lists multi-angle layouts, but stable ink supply, print placement and printing distance for each orientation must be confirmed through sample and continuous-operation tests.
03 / MODEL SELECTION
The brochure provides printheads, print heights and native resolutions; it does not list a separate stated speed for each model.
| Model | Printhead model | Print Height | Native Resolution |
|---|---|---|---|
| LDi50 ↗ | GH2220 | 32.4 mm | 300 dpi |
| LDi60 ↗ | CE4 | 54 mm | 300 dpi |
| LDi70 ↗ | 510 | 72 mm | 180 dpi |
| LDi70 Plus ↗ | 1020 | 72 mm | 360 dpi |
| LDi100 ↗ | GEN4 | 32.4 mm | 300 dpi |
| LDi200 ↗ | GEN5 | 54 mm | 600 dpi |
The series covers application requirements from 0–60 m/min. Check specific line speed separately against the printhead, content, ink, waveform and production-line testing; do not treat the series range as the stated speed of every model.
04 / APPLICATIONS
Determine the system configuration from the printing objective, material and actual site speed.
Print dates, batch numbers and traceability information in compact workstations, and check cleaning conditions.
For packaging lines that prioritize clean equipment surfaces and efficient line changeovers.
Validate material compatibility and adhesion against site media, cleaning agents and ink requirements.
Fit the compact enclosure and module interfaces into the installation space of existing equipment.
05 / CONFIGURATION
Let actual samples and operating conditions determine the printhead, ink, mounting and control solution.
304 stainless steel does not imply a specific protection rating or resistance to every cleaning agent; protection and material-contact requirements are subject to the specific delivery configuration.
APPLICATION TEST / FHES
Provide actual samples, print content and target line speed, and complete selection testing under the project's operating conditions.
