FHES / PIJ SERIES S

Let Printing Direction
No Longer Limit Production-Line Layout

The S series uses FCS full-loop ink circulation to manage the complete supply/return path. Combined with pressure feedback at both printhead ends and dual-pump PID control, it provides a system foundation for multi-orientation and moving printing.

360° denotes multi-orientation solution capability; validate ink, printheads, motion paths and curing positions against actual operating conditions.

01 / ADVANTAGES

The Complete Ink Path Can Be Measured and Controlled

FCS manages the ink supply/return path from the tank through the printhead and back to the tank.

01 / FULL LOOP

Full-Loop Ink Supply and Return

The supply pump, printhead feed/return ports and return pump form a complete path, reducing stagnant areas in the ink system.

02 / DUAL PID

Dual-End Pressure Feedback

Measure inlet and return pressure near the printhead, and adjust the two pumps using inlet pressure and the target pressure differential respectively.

03 / MOTION

Multi-Orientation Solutions

Validate side printing, upward printing and robotic moving printing item by item against orientation and dynamic pressure.

02 / SYSTEM

Full-Loop Circulation from Tank to Printhead

Full-loop circulation describes the system-level supply/return path; circulation behind the nozzles depends on the specific printhead structure.

01Ink Tank and Supply Pump

Provide continuous ink supply to the printhead.

02Printhead Feed/Return Ports

Measure pressure at two points near the printhead.

03Return Pump and Return Flow

Adjust return flow according to the target pressure differential and return ink to the tank.

The application focus differs from SL series CCS: S series FCS focuses on the complete supply/return path and multiple orientations; SL series CCS focuses on recirculation near the printhead and nozzle condition.

03 / MODEL SELECTION

Four models selected by width and speed

Check print width, resolution, target speed and printing distance together.

ModelprintheadPrint WidthNative ResolutionSpeedReference Throw Distance
S1CF6R53.95 mm600 npi30 m/min25 mm
S2RC1536108.3 mm360 npi157 m/min50 mm
S3Xaar 200270.5 mm720 npi75 m/min15 mm
S4G5F54.1 mm600 npi76 m/min8 mm

Speeds are stated for printheads at native resolution × native resolution; throw distance and actual output are subject to sample testing.

04 / APPLICATIONS

Application Scenarios

Determine the system configuration from the printing objective, material and actual site speed.

01 / FHES

Packaging sides and angled faces

Assess the negative-pressure operating window for side and angled printing through workpiece positioning and printing-distance calibration.

02 / FHES

Robotic Multi-Surface Printing

Check acceleration, deceleration, hose drag and trigger timing along the motion path.

03 / FHES

High-pigment white ink

Continuous recirculation reduces tubing sedimentation risk; tank agitation, filtration and ink stability still require validation.

04 / FHES

Wide or high-speed lines

Configure multiple-printhead stitching or overlapping according to flow rate, pressure differential and return-flow capacity.

05 / CONFIGURATION

From sample to line configuration

Let actual samples and operating conditions determine the printhead, ink, mounting and control solution.

Provide this information.

  • Material sample and ink requirements
  • Print content, print width and target speed
  • Printhead orientation and motion path
  • Installation of space, hose length and interface

Focus Validation

  • Feed/return pressure at different orientations
  • Print placement at maximum speed and during acceleration/deceleration
  • Printing quality during extended operation with the target ink
  • First-item results after shutdown and restart

System capabilities can be combined for the project; printheads, ink and optional functions are subject to the final delivery list and actual testing.
