01 / MARKING + MATERIAL

Marking content and substrates

Metal caps / plastic caps / front-and-back marking

Marking content

Batch codes, serial numbers, QR codes and linked codes. Define the pairing relationship and data source for two-sided tasks.

Application priorities

Coatings, curvature, reflections and station space affect print distance and vision reading. Test upward or angled printing with the selected ink supply and printhead.

02 / PIJ + VISION INSPECTION

Printing configuration and inspection

FHES approach

Select PIJ equipment, ink and triggering for the cap and station. KD siphon configurations offer a starting point for comparing multi-orientation tasks; verify capability by model and sample.

Inspection and traceability

For front/back matching, read the front information, link or generate the reverse content, then verify and record reverse-side printing. Set thresholds and exception workflows for the project.

APPLICATION TEST / FHES

Sample testing and selection advice

Prepare substrate or sample photos, print content, character or code dimensions, target line speed, print orientation and inspection requirements. Email sample and line photos to discuss testing and configuration with FHES.

Tests assess adhesion, readability, printing stability and line throughput. Equipment, inks and inspection rules depend on sample validation and project configuration.
